Who are we
There are currently ten independent Citizens Advice Bureaux in Staffordshire who are funded jointly by Staffordshire County Council and the local authorities.
Citizens Advice service
There are 426 Citizens Advice Bureaux across England and Wales, all of which are members of Citizens Advice.
Together, we are the Citizens Advice service, and we help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

An automated service is available outside these opening hours. During this first stage assessment an assessor will discuss your problem to decide how the CAB can help you. You may be referred to a generalist advisor at your local bureau, a specialist or signposted to another organisation or given information on how to deal with your problem whilst on the phone.

Getting Advice
The Citizens Advice service offers practical, up-to-date information and advice on a wide range of topics, including; debt, benefits, housing, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems.
Our advice is available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion.

Volunteer
The majority of advisers are trained volunteers, helping the Citizens Advice service to resolve over 5.5 million new problems every year.
We couldn't survive without our 20,000 fantastic volunteers, but we need around 5,000 more. We're looking for all sorts of people with different backgrounds and skills to volunteer with us for a uniquely rewarding experience.
